Software Updates
Verizon Wireless periodically provides updates to the Preferred Roaming List for your specific handset. This free update helps your handset look for the newest towers when travelling. To obtain this update, call *228 from your wireless device and when prompted choose option 2. The process takes about 2 minutes, is automatic, and will require you to reset the device at the end of the call.
